"Good lightweight grippy tire for paved or sealed tracks"
"I have the 20x1.75 Silkshield, front and rear. I got them from Dan's Comp on clearance. These roll fast and handle glued tracks perfectly. They are made for paved/glued super tracks. But in dirt, even hard packed and groomed, I do not feel confidence in the Relix. Also, they have a hard, rough feedback. Other brands have some cushion and a softer feel; not the Relix. None of that. You'll feel every pebble and uneven spot. Literally I can feel the asphalt in my handlebars when in a turn. These tires are made for paved and glued tracks that are well maintained. If you ride in any sort of dirt I don't recommend the Relix. If you jump these you have to have high speed and make a shallow long jump with forward landing. If you have a peaky track with hopping, popping, and short jumps you're SOL with the Relix. You'll eat it and/or break your wrists. This tire is made for the 'fastest track conditions in the world' and that is not your local hometown BMX track. If you are on a UCI World tour heading to the Olympics this is your tire. If you're battling for District points at your local track get something else."
"Been racing for more than 2 decades now and this tyre is grippiest one I've ever had, could have been a good weapon for the 2020 Olympics. Just sad I can't find them anymore"
"Bought as tires for a Bike Friday Tandem. Everything good so far, and nearly as wide as will fit on this particular bike. Rolls fast on the center tread with a bit of tread at the sides for when the path gets squishy."
"Nice tire for dry, firm conditions, but i like the DTH much better. Can't get it in 20 inch anymore. And im quite bummed about that"
