"Amazing, best tire ever!"
"I have been using these tires for about three years now through all seasons and all conditions. I bought them to replace the Jumbo Jims that came on my bike. I ride mostly in loose and wet terrain, due to the fact I live in coastal Maine. These perform great, even in snow."
"Hello all Fat Bike America here, I bikepacked 24 of the lower 48 states from 2020 to 2023, I was not in a race of any sort. I rode from Vermont to NYC took a bus to Fayetteville, NC to meet up with a colleague, we rode out from there through South Carolina, Georgia and Northern Florida, rode through to the pan handle and Alabama then into Mississippi then Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas again for Cadillac Ranch, then New Mexico, Arizona and then riding up through the northern tier into Colorado but due to high winds I was turned around and not able to travel across the Million Dollar Highway. From here into Utah, traveling into Las Vegas and then into California. When I reached Vista, CA I blew out my right knee and was forced to do in-home therapy at my friends place for 8 months. From here I rode the coast from San Diego all the way to Napa, my coach informed me that I needed to turn around and go back to Monterrey for the Sea Otter Classic bike event of the year. At the event I met up with Maxxis and showed these guys my tires, I had nearly 3,000 miles on them! Of course with the added assistance of Tannus Armour inserts. I made it from there to the Redwood Forest near Klamath where my tires had enough and was forced to get new sets by Terrene because Maxxis canceled these Minions. 3,500 miles in total on one set of Maxxis Minion tires. -Michael Buxton fatbikeamerica. com"
"This is my 2nd set for my 2020 Specialized Fat Boy. We have sandy trails near the Gulf of America and the Minion FBF performs well. Also good in the snow."
"This tire has bigger knobs than the Collossus tire that came on the bike new out of box from Luna Cycle in El Segundo Calif. I like the Collossus because it didn't slide on turns as much as these do But this Minion has thicker knobs that last longer than Collossus EXO TR. the Minion is Not TR. I just wish you would make the Collossus with bigger knobs"
"Easy to mount tubeless on my Mulefoot 80 fatbike tires with a shop air compressor in just around a minute or so, great grip and control"
"Great tire"
"They run straight as an arrow. Very happy"
"Did not realize I bought the wrong tire. Thought I was buying the Tubeless ready tire. However, I was able to make it work anyway. No issues. Beefier tread than the previous minion FBF version I own. Lots of traction. I have no complaints."
"I got a specialized Fatboy about a year ago that came with these tires. I am not an expert in fat biking, but these seem to hold their line very well while not being overly cumbersome to pedal up the trail. One recommendation I would make is to get as fat a tire as you can, I have the 3.8-inch version and it sinks too much when the snow gets deep, making it impossible to ride until someone else has come and packed out the trail."
