Maxxis’ 4Season rubber compound is formulated to work in all conditions and all weather, ensuring excellent performance year round.
The 4Season-High Mileage compound variant – available on select models – uses additional fillers to further maximize tread life.
MaxxProtect is a 3mm thick piece of rubber that is placed under the tread area to improve puncture resistance.
Tires with an E25 rating are suitable for light duty e-bikes with assistance up to a maximum of 25 km/h.
For heavier, more powerful, and faster e-bikes, Maxxis offers E50 rated tires. E50 tires conform to European Union ECE-R75 specifications and are approved for use up to 50 km/h.
To enhance visibility and rider safety in low light conditions, Maxxis offers select specs of our urban tires with a reflective sidewall stripe. This is denoted by a “REF” in the Tech column of the spec tables.

"Going from stubby MTB tires to these is a night and day different. I was wearing down my tires super fast riding on the road. These tires are super quiet and roll super easy. Installation was very difficult but once it's on there, it's solid."
