MaxxProtect version
"I have the older version which is 35c so slightly narrower than the new one. The tyre is lightweight and it has good durability. After using it for 7 years it has minimal aging, and minimal tear and wear. Puncture Protection is excellent, sometimes I pull out little spikes from the tyre, but no harm for the inner tube. Traction is very good on Asphalt (dry/wet) Concrete, Gravel, Grass (dry/wet) dry and slightly wet dirt. (Only had issues when ran into soft sand and some very slippery mud or snow) But otherwise, for its intented purpose, works perfectly. Rolling resistance varies, depending on tyre pressure and surface. Rarely, but I noticed that at a certain type of asphalt it has much more, also at a certain type of gravel additionally in mud. (It can go in some moderately deep mud but with high rolling resistance just like you would go uphill) Overall it is a great value, excellent quality tyre, leightweight yet trustworthy. Its overperformed all of my anticipations. I only see one disadvantage (if you plan to use it offroad and more uneven surface) that it doesn't come in a wider 1.75 or 1.8 inch version"
